Key Aims & Objectives of Service

All our services are provided free of charge in support of opportunities for Life Long learning,
Literature and Reading, Information and Enterprise together with Heritage and Cultural services and programmes.

The library provides material in a range of formats that best reflect and support the social, cultural and educational needs of our users. We aim to select, stock and promote material that enhances the reading experience for our users.
The library hosts a broad range of activities and events, participating in programmes such as Bealtaine Festival, Heritage Week, Children’s Book Festival, Science Week etc.
