Key Aims & Objectives of Service
The Probation Service aims to promote safety in the community, to prevent victimisation and promote victim awareness by working with offenders to reduce offending in the community and to help offenders and their families to lead more productive lives. We aim to achieve this by motivating, challenging and supporting offenders. The Probation Service provides assistance to offenders released from prison and places of detention to promote their reintegration back into their communities.
