Who can use the service? Children with mild-to-moderate difficulties (for example anxiety,behaviour management, assessments etc)and adults.

Referrals accepted from: Referrals are accepted from the public or from professionals. Referrals for children must be signed by a legal guardian/parent.
How to make a referral: All referrals to primary care (e.g. OT, SLT, Physio, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Dietetics) are made on a common referral form avail from HSE health centres.
Services Provided
Early stage advice and consultation on mental health issues, signposting to specialist services, psychological assessment for certain issues, provision of brief therapy for mild-to-moderate difficulties, training classes, and facilitation of therapy/support groups. The service uses a layered care approach where the lowest level of intervention appropriate is used (e.g. bibliotherapy).
