Centre Overview
The TUSLA Child and Family Agency Network Development Team are responsible for the rollout of the National Service Delivery Plan of TUSLA in the Dublin North City Area. The Network Development Team focus on the development and support of early intervention services for children and families in the Dublin North City Area. The team are responsible for the establishment and support of Child and Family Networks in order to implement 'Meitheal' an area based approach to Prevention, Partnership and Family Support. The Team are tasked with the development and support of Networks in order to support the collaborative networking of community, voluntary and statutory providers so as to improve access to support services for children and their families
Key Aims & Objectives of Service
To support the establishment of an integrated system of children's services and to establish processes and procedures with children's well being as their focus. To have clear and consistent referral pathways for children and families, which are based on assessed need and with responses appropriate to meeting those needs. To ensure that each referral is dealt with efficiently, effectively and proportionately and that families are directed to appropriate services in a timely and competent manner. To provide a framework for information sharing between core agency services.
Services Provided
The development and support of Child and Family Agency Networks in Dublin North City.
The provision of information in relation to Meitheal and the rollout of the National Service Delivery Plan of TUSLA the Child and Family Agency.
The coordination of service provision and training in relation to the development of local area pathways.
Supporting awareness raising of services operating in the area and identifying gaps in service provision.
Promoting the development of services for children and families based on need.
