Who can use the service? Clients with a Psychiatric illness between the ages of 18 and 65
A client must have training funding assigned to them from a training guidance officer. (This will be applied for by the centre manager)
Cost: None
There is no cost to the client. However, a client must receive approval / funding from the local RTG service. This process is undertaken by the centre on the clients behalf The RTG for Dublin north east is:

Centre Overview
The aim of the Castleview Training Centre is to provide structured training in the areas of Catering, Information Technology, Office Skills & Civics, Independent living skills, Leisure Skills, Community Placement, Personal Development and Creative Expression for people recovering from various mental health disabilities/difficulties.
It is the Castleview Training Centre's mission to deliver a quality service which will provide the learners with the opportunity to examine and consider options which will enable them to decide on the direction they would like to take in organizing their own lives for the future. The training will enable the learners to develop new skills, to build their self confidence and self-esteem and ultimately to lead a happier healthier life in the “real world"
Key Aims & Objectives of Service
Through an individuals participation on this course their training will focus to help them cope more positively with a training environment, set goals and work towards achieving them with opportunities to gain certification as appropriate, obtain work experience and community integration and to promote independence, self advocacy and valuable outcomes at the end of their training time.
